Captains for the upcoming 2023 NBA All-Star Game will select their team rosters live shortly before kickoff in Salt Lake City.
The All-Star Game will take place on February 19. No one will know the team lineups before the start of the meeting, not even the players themselves. The NBA and players union announced the format change Tuesday night.
This is the sixth time the NBA has used a format in which captains select their team`s rosters, but the first five times the rosters were selected days before the game.
The captains and starting fives will be announced on Thursday.
