Red Bull driver Sergio Perez praised his current level.
I`m constantly working [on my form]. I think it was influenced by the fact that I felt comfortable at the start of the season, and then it disappeared.
Formula 1 drivers face new challenges all the time. But it feels like right now I`m actually in my best shape. I really want to keep it and start the new season at a very high level.
[2022] started off very well. There were some reliability issues, but on the track everything looked fine. We got involved in the fight for the title very early. A couple of bad races have knocked me out of championship contention and that`s something I need to work on with the team. We need to remain stable in order to fight for the title if the car is of a similar level in the coming season, " said the Mexican.
Perez took third place in the championship advised by soccer partners in 2022, losing to Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in the fight for vice-championship. The gap from teammate Max Verstappen was 149 points.
