The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be held at Jeddah until at least 2027.
Initially, the organizers planned to make the track in Jeddah temporary, and in a couple of years to move to a completely new circuit in the park city of Qiddiya.
Now the organizers have revised plans and carried out a number of infrastructure upgrades.
The organizers also agreed to exchange the dates of the race with the Australian Grand Prix in 2024. This was done in order to avoid imposing the holding of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Ramadan. In 2024, Ramadan will run from March 10 to April 9.
