The pilot of Aston Martin Fernando Alonso shared his opinion on how it turned out for him two seasons after returning to Formula 1.
I remembered the return of Michael Schumacher. When he returned, he was perhaps not one hundred percent the same. At least that`s how it feels.
So, of course, I was sure of myself. But not so much that I was one hundred percent sure that I would be fast enough to compete at the highest level. And last year I didn`t perform at the maximum of my abilities, sometimes I didn`t feel very comfortable, I had to overcome a couple of difficulties. In the same year, I felt almost one hundred percent.
I am pleased with how two years have passed at Alpin. I received a positive boost that should help in the future. And I am grateful to Alpin for the fact that the team gave me this chance, - said Alonso.
