After finishing the sprint at Interlagos, Alpin Frenchman caught fire in a closed park. The marshals who ran up quickly put out the fire, but it is very likely that some chassis components were damaged due to the fire.
The team has not yet commented on the incident.
Ocon finished 18th in the Sao Paulo sprint.
